Frequently Asked Questions for
Walk-In-Coolers
What is the difference between indoor and outdoor cooler units?
The primary distinction between our indoor and outdoor units lies in the inclusion of our weather kit for outdoor models. This kit comprises a roof cap for protection, a hood cover for the A/C unit, and door rain gutter to enhance weather resistance.
What differentiates a cooler unit with a floor from one without a floor?
The primary difference between units with a floor and those without is temperature range needs. Units with an insulated floor can maintain temperatures as low as 34-36 degrees, while those without a floor can maintain temperatures as low as 38-40 degrees. All outdoor coolers have an insulated floor.
What is included with the walk-in cooler purchase?
Your quote will include:
- Insulated panels
- Correctly sized LG A/C
- WiFi enabled CoolBot Pro
- Shipping from our manufacturing facility to you
- State tax (when applicable)
What is the warranty policy?
Our walk-In cooler panels come with a 15-year manufacturer’s warranty. The CoolBot Pro and LG A/C covered by a standard one-year warranty. Customers providing a testimonial will receive an additional year of warranty coverage for the CoolBot Pro controller.
Do these units function as freezers?
The CoolBot cannot maintain freezing temperatures, only refrigeration temperatures.
For a freezer, we recommend reaching out to a company like Arctic Walk-ins. Customers we have been unable to assist in this area have found success with them.
Is a rail system available?
We have a rail system for select sizes of turnkey coolers. Visit our CoolBot Hunting & Meat Hanging Rail System page to learn more. (Please note: The rail system is only included with complete units and is not sold separately.)
Can the cooler unit be installed on a moving trailer?
The unit is not designed or rated for placement on a moving trailer. Optimal performance and stability require installation on a stationary floor surface.
What are the electrical requirements for the unit?
Electrical voltage and amperage requirements vary depending on the unit size. Smaller 6’ x 6’ units operate on 120V with a 15-amp power supply, whereas larger 12’ x 20’ units necessitate 220V with a 20-amp power supply.
