°CoolBot is COMPATIBLE with Window and wall mounted Mini-Split Air Conditioners – see A/C Compatibility List above for supported brands
Air Conditioners MUST have a Digital Display and Automatic Restart
°CoolBot is NOT COMPATIBLE with Portable A/Cs*, Central A/Cs, RV A/Cs, Roof-mount A/Cs, PTACs or Cassette type Mini-Splits

LG is our preferred A/C brand.
There are many other compatible brands, such as Frigidaire, Haier, Arctic King, Danby, and GE.

Some A/C’s may have secondary sensors or minimum compressor run times. This is OK as long as they are a compatible brand! For more information on what that means and how to choose the right A/C for your application, please see our A/C Compatibility List.

Please DO NOT purchase REFURBISHED A/Cs. Buy only new A/Cs and ensure they are from a reputable seller.
We have only limited data and limited support on other mini-split brands.

Most Mini Splits can operate in the COOL mode (needed for CoolBot operation) only when the outside temperatures are above 15°F. If you live in an area with harsh winters AND your cooler runs all year long, a mini-split condenser installed outside may not be a good solution for you.
